Ok, I can't win so go ahead and create your own groups  :-D 

I have created one for Pagan Parents, but there are more than a dozen new groups already inplace. Click on the groups link up in the top left of the screen.

I ask that people name their groups so that the topic is clear, and please don't create groups with a really narrow or vague focus. With more than a thousand members, if everyone starts creating obscure groups, it will make it hard for anyone to find the groups they want because we will be swamped with them.

Also, don't create a duplicate group if a topic already exists just because you want your own.

I am aware that the main page of the site is not loading, but it seems that everyone can access their own sites, and from there can still access everything else.

I'm really frustrated by this, given the number of people flooding in from my About.com notices. This isn't a good first impression!  I will be on the phone with tech suppport as soon as they are available!

 As for the 1000 limit, the good people at Onesite (the host of this site) have decided that this community is so impressive, they are allowing me to surpass the user limit without having to upgrade my plan. They cannot get over the growth this site is showing  :-D

Please pass the word along to anyone on your friends list. I don't have anyway of sending a site-wide notice....

This site is just exploding!  I simply cannot believe that we've hit more than 500 members already. I just can't believe it.  I guess my About newsletter gets read more than I thought  :-D

I want to thank everyone who wrote to me with welcomes. I couldn't respond to everyone, just those who had questions or problems.

I'm so thrilled by the vast range of people who are already here. People of all ages, and from countries around the world.  It's just wo wonderful. And I can't get over some of the beautiful photos and artwork that people have uploaded to share. Wowee.

I do apologize for all the profile glitches. Lost profiles and that almost everyone is 38 years old.... I am working on it and I hope to get it all resolved shortly.  I hope y'all stick around for the long haul through these bumps.

The group feature is available to everyone, but I would rather have a few general and organized groups instead of hundreds of little barely-used ones.

Please don't start your own groups at this point.

I'm going to be setting up some groups for the site, now that we are nearly ONE HUNDRED members (YAY). Groups are like message boards where you can interact with people on a certain topic with public posts.  

Topics I am thinking of are Pagan Parents, Teens, The Kitchen Witch (for recipes, crafts, herbs), Solitaries, and a Book Chat group.

Please post your comments to this blog entry with your ideas and thoughts on what groups you would like to see. I don't plan on having a huge number of them, perhaps 5 or 6. You can send me a message, if you would prefer.
