Stupid me didn't think to post a blog about this, so hopefully this will help reach a few more people with the news.

COVENSPACE IS MOVING

Yes, that's right. So if you're hearing rumours, believe it.

The hosting here has been very poor, the site is slow loading and its costing me a fortune. So I have rebuilt the site and now comes the hard part of moving in. Only around 14,000 people to worry about.

Please read the moving page, as it explains more and includes links to instructions and help pages on the new site. Hundreds of people have already moved, and more every minute.

So check out the page, read the FAQs and get on over there to build yourself a new Covenspace home.

I know i haven't been around and have a zillion unanswered emails. I'm really sorry, but I'm working on some big changes for the site. BIG CHANGES. Hoo boy. Can't wait to tell ya!

I will be announcing the news next week, in honour of Samhain. So watch for that.

Other than that, my decorations for the holiday went up with Em today. Soem plastic pumpkins from the dollar store and a few other cute knick knack things. Too poor for much else, and no motivation either. Being overworked and underdated will do that.

But i'm not really complaining. Good things are getting done and I can see a faint light at teh end of the tunnel with getting some stuff finished and under way. Yeehaw.

And my new computer is blazing fast, and my enormous monitor is a thing of beauty.

I'm finally setting time aside to get my new computer operational, after having it sit in a box for three weeks. So I may not be around for a day or two, depending on how smoothly this goes. I have wireless internet at my house and the installer guys set that up. I"m not sure how it works, so I'm not sure about getting it working on the new machine. Which means I could be offline until that's running.

So I'll be back soon, and for those working on my "special project", the same thing applies. I'll be back when I get back  :)

A book I worked on is about to be released, check it out:

Essential Visual History of World Mythology

It's a National Geographic book, though I didn't know that when I was working on it. I wrote the Norse and the Celtic chapters.

Woohoo for me. It's a neat little book, mostly pictures with little myths and stories all tucked in around the images.

I just had to run out and chase cows out of my yard.

I guess tomorrow's work will have to wait until I figure where the fence is down and learn the fine art of stringing more barbed wire. Yeehaw.
